To the best of my knowledge, Doc Holiday played our last show on Saturday August 28th, 2004 at John and Rocky's “Thunder in the Barn Party”. This was a fitting place for our farewell, as both Roger and I made our debut with Doc Holiday at this very location.

Doc Holiday was always about playing what we wanted, how we wanted, all while refusing to compromise. We played with reckless abandon in a scene where note-for-note bands were vogue. Our path would never be easy, especially considering the fact we were four head-strong characters with 4 distinct opinions of what we wanted to play and how we wanted to play it. Somehow we thrived.

The four of us were, and continue to be entrenched in various side projects. Our schedules (both personally and musically) have made a sustainable presence as a band practically impossible.

All good things must come to an end. All's well that ends well. Know when to stop. There are a million more clichés. I'll spare you. The end of Doc Holiday is neither ground shattering nor news worthy. The very fact we were able to stay together for 6 years is, however, notable...

Thanks for listening and supporting independent music.
